Rescue operations resumed in full swing in Uttarakhand even as the death toll climbed to 822 after 127 more modies were recovered from the rubble that used to be Kedarnath. There are still around 8000 left stranded that are being rescued. The rescue operations received a setback when a rescue MI-17 chopper crashed leaving all 8 aboard the chopper dead (5 crew members and 3 civilians).
